We’re incredibly proud to share that we were awarded “Best Sports Creator” at the SportsPro Media Awards.

What this award signifies

Winning Best Sports Creator underscores the value of creator-led storytelling in modern sport. It recognises how collaborative content can open a genuine window into the squad—showing personality, humour and human moments that traditional formats often miss.

Crucially, it affirms our belief that entertainment and brand-building are not opposing forces but complementary ones.

Our creator-first approach

We bring creators in early—at brief, not just at shoot—so ideas are shaped with platform behaviour in mind. That means designing for native formats, leaning into trends responsibly, and letting creators’ voices shine. The result is work that feels natural in-feed, while still delivering against clear brand objectives.

"CREATORS AREN'T JUST AMPLIFIERS —THEY'RE COLLABORATORS. THEIR VOICE, AUDIENCE INTUITION AND AGILITY HELP US MAKE WORK THAT CONNECTS QUICKLY AND AUTHENTICALLY" — City Studios Team

Highlights from this journey

Entertaining content at scale across club social channels

We built platform-native formats with clear hooks and tight pacing, enabling consistent publishing across our social ecosystem. This approach let stories travel—efficient to produce, simple to localise, and optimised for watch-through, saves and shares without sacrificing brand integrity.

Stronger fan affinity through approachable, human stories

By prioritising personality over polish, we revealed moments that feel honest and close-up—players’ humour, rituals and reactions. That human lens deepened trust, lifted positive sentiment, and turned casual scrollers into genuinely engaged followers.

Smoother collaboration with a growing network of trusted creators

  • Co-create from brief: bring creators in early to shape concepts, hooks and format.

  • Standardised briefs: clear objectives, audience, mandatories, do/don’ts, deliverables and timelines.

  • Shared guardrails: tone of voice, on-site etiquette, player welfare, access rules and approvals.

  • Repeatable workflows: shot lists, asset specs, file naming, version control and delivery paths.

"WE'RE GRATEFUL TO EVERY CREATOR WHO HAS COLLABORATED WITH US — YOUR CRAFT, CURIOSITY AND CARE ARE WHAT MAKES THESE STORIES SING" — City Studios team

What's next

We’ll keep experimenting—with new voices, smarter production workflows and ideas that invite fans closer to the club. If you’re a creator who loves football and great stories, we’d love to hear from you.
